RemSteering is committed to
best customer satisfaction possible. We will accept uninstalled returns
within 15 days. If you purchased the wrong part, we will work with you on
getting the correct one to you. If you feel the part is defective before
installing, please call us and our technicians will help you. We stand by our
parts and workmanship 100% and we want your online purchase experience to be a
good one. Custom orders are not refundable. To receive credit for a
non-defective return, all returns must be received back within 15 days of the
receiving the part. A careful inspection of the product will ensure that the
product was not installed or any missing parts. Parts must also be in their
original packaging. A restocking fee of 25% will be charged and you will lose
actual shipping charges if you received free shipping.

Non-Defective installed
parts are never returnable. Installed is defined
as any attempt at installation. Regardless
of fault or reason, a refund will not be issued. Your only option is to check if
part is under warranty.
Reminder: All cores must pass
inspection before a refund or exchange is granted.

Our prices are low because we base our business on an exchange of
parts. We sell you a fully remanufactured part for an exchange of your
rebuildable part. That is why we charge a core charge to make sure we receive
your rebuildable part. When we get your rebuildable part back, we refund the
deposit within 3 days.
Manual Steering units are
either R&R or out the door price. Even though our website shows a core
price, manual units are not subject to core exchange. Why, because their is not
a heavy demand for manual steering racks and boxes. However, we honor the same
warranty as with our power units.

It’s our company policy to return the core deposit of every
customer with 3 days of receiving the core.
There is a 30 day maximum window for core returns. Cores received
after the 30 day allotment may be eligible for a partial credit. In order to
receive credit all cores must pass inspection.
Customers that return
incorrect or unusable cores will not be eligible for core a refund or credit. To
receive full credit Cores must be complete, must be rebuildable not have any
broken parts and core returns must be the exact one sold (for example if we sold
you a OEM 2001 mazda 3 rack and pinion, you need to return a oem Mazda 3 rack
and pinion).
If you paid via credit card, we will put the credit right back on
your card. Even after we process the credit to your card, it can take several
business days for you credit card company to post it.
Some examples of Cores
with the following faults will not be eligible for a refund.
STEERING
GEARS: Damaged Housing, Stripped Mounting Threads, Damaged port threads,
Damaged Shaft, Stripped Splines, Seized, must turn
freely.
RACK AND PINION: Bent tie rod
ends, Broken Mountings, Damaged Splines, Damaged Steel Lines, Damaged
Housing.
POWER STEERING PUMPS:
Broken or stripped mountings,
Damaged Port Threads, Broken or Damaged Reservoir
housing, bent or broken return tubes, damaged pulley
shafts. |
